WHAT
A simple pattern built from hand drawn circles
YOU WILL NEED:
A pen or pencil and a small square of paper or post-it note
INSTRUCTIONS:
There is no right or wrong here, we are interested in the journey and not just the destination
Firstly draw a freehand square on your paper leaving a small border
Now draw a circle in the centre of your paper
Draw a series of small circles surrounding the first one that you drew
Continue to add circles that connect with previously drawn circles. Leave no gaps
Repeat point 4 until your paper is full and the circles reach the border
Revisit each circle and draw a smaller circle within each of them. Take care to play with the placement of each circle. Variation will create movement in the pattern.
